Went down and planted at mom's for Mother's Day.  You need dynamite to dig in her yard.  Little does she know I'm taking her yard native.  All deer and rabbit resistant is all I tell her.  I put in Rose Mallow, Rose Turtlehead, Cardinal Flower, Giant Blue Lobelia and Ostrich Fern.  Those last two may not be native.  Out front she got Veronica, Lavender,  Agastache and some Rock Pink.  You know, I have to support our plant sale.   Cheesy

I only have 3 flats of plants left to put in.  I'm going to work on those tomorrow along with some seeds.  And then DJ called today, plugs come in Monday for her house.  She forgot how many she ordered.  I'm thinking 100.  We're doing those Thursday.  I have a drill and a plant auger.  I'll have to bend over but it should be a matter of just dropping them in the hole.  Wednesday I have some more seeding and a Blueberry to put in with Beka.  I should be done planting this week.  All these new plants for the renovated beds means I'm going to spend a lot of time with the hose this summer.

Got a text my Milkweed display looked cute.

So nice out tonight I weeded in my own yard.  They are going to finish off selling perennials at our monthly meeting.  Guess I could support our plant sale a little bit more.   Cheesy

I think a good nights sleep and I may be okay.  I'm getting my taste for coffee back.  Still no appetite but eating helps.  My daughter says she's not back to speed yet.

It's been gradual but I can see.  I'll never get the night vision back but I don't have to try to focus.  The world is not as bright as it was right after surgery and I'm not getting the trails off the lights at night as bad.  All in all well worth the procedure.  I've gotten over wearing glasses, so much so, I keep forgetting my sunglasses.  hihi

Aw, so close!  Mike tried to fire up the Camaro.  Thought it was going to catch on the third crank but on the sixth crank, it poofed out of the carburetor.  Smelled good.  Mike says that means the timing is off a little.  That thing is going to be a monster when it does come to life.  It's a death trap, make no mistake, but that's a muscle car.   Cheesy  The last time it ran, you heard it all over the neighborhood.  Filled up Mike's garage with carbon monoxide so bad it smelled for days.  Poor baby but it ran.

Trying a Lidocaine patch.  These are nice!  Can they make a full size back one?  Offered one to Mike but the only drugs he does is beer and pot.  Can't believe I'm this old and trying to convince my friend to try this drug.   hihi

We can see the Northern lights.  I'll have to take a drive into the country tomorrow night for a better view.

I think the reason my stomach still hurts is I need food in there.  Why don't they have fast food pasta?  The only thing I think I can stomach right now besides another coke.  I have to rest up to make another trip to the store.  It was so weird going out.  I had sea legs.  I've only been laying on the couch for 3 days.  By the way, why does the cat have to tenderize you forever before they can just lay down on you?  And how long is a My Pillow supposed to last?  The couch brings up many questions.

I'm getting better.  The grandbaby sailed right through it.  The parents took 3 days.  Apparently my flu shot is not for the stomach flu.  There was a kid puking at the baby's gym class so that's probably where it all began.  Kids are just germy little critters.  Cute though.  I kicked ass at pinball with my preplays to cover my absence.  The roofer is still working on trying to get me new siding.  The gardens are pretty quite with everybody tired after the plant sale and trying to get their own yards in order.  Didn't miss much this week.

Saltines and the occasional dolip of ranch dressing is tolerable.  Pasta with a white sauce or Flamingo Chicken sounds really good but they're all at sit down restaurants.  But right now I'm headed back to the couch.  The cats are outside.  Cheesy

yes it's probably an intermediate title, of course it's guitar driven, but it sounds a bit too modern to me in its structure to be considered as a "could be on UYI" track,  probably because of its hip hop rhythmic too

as Slash said when CD came out, and I know you remember the quote " It’s a record that the original Guns N’ Roses could never possibly make."

Yeah, maybe. But it's still something that could've been on an album that came after Use Your Illusion. Even if the band members didn't go their separate ways.

As a whole, that band in the 90s wouldn't have made exactly the same album (obviously) as Chinese Democracy. But some of the songs created after UYI, I think could've been released in a little different versions. Hard Skool, Perhaps, Street Of Dreams, This I Love etc.

This is a legacy touring band at this stage of the game.

Marsha is talking again.  She's on her first week of daily chemo with a three week break for 8 sessions.  We have plenty of garden drama going on to keep her off her butt, nothing important.  She does like some of my cost cutting suggestions for the plant sale.  She tested them and they worked.

Time to cut back the Asters or they will go to 6 feet tall by the end of the year.  Some of my cool season crops are bolting and I haven't even harvested yet.  My to do list is growing.  hihi
