Could be very interesting. Seems like Tommy might not be available. Who'd be on Bass if he's not able to?

The comment about Tommy IS A JOKE. It's because in the photo they used he isn't looking at the Camera. Tommy WILL be there. Amazed how that joke went right over 99% of peoples heads.

Yeah I didn't get that.  I would have thought Tommy was bitching and rightly so about not spending another fucking Christmas holiday at the London airport.  hihi  Come home for Christmas GNR and crew.

If it's merely a joke about where Tommy's looking, strange they pointed him out when Dizzy's looking the same way...

Dizzy is actually making eye contact with the camera while Tommy is staring off in the distance to the right.

In any case, just in case they are going through the London airport, I think we need to send them with snow shovels.  hihi  I was really upset for them the last time when I thought there was a chance they wouldn't make it home for Christmas.

"Or you know", looking at Dizzy's eyes. Something to our right just off camera has caught his attention and it's where Tommy is looking in that photo too. Dizzy is looking slightly to his left in that photo, not straight down the camera. If you guys can't see that, best you not be giving others advice about looking at things...

Crazy to go there for just one show.

Guns should really consider hitting spots like Sapporo - almost 2 million people there, and far enough from Tokyo that you could do a pretty sizeable show, yet Japan is so small it shouldn't cost a fortune to travel up there. And Fukuoka - 5 million, on Kyushu, again far enough from Tokyo to make this worthwhile.

Finally ! I missed the news and the original sale but managed to find one ticket for the same price on Yahoo Auctions.  I must say the price is sorta outrageous but it will be a rare opportunity to see them in a small venue, 15 minute walk away from my place to boot. Cant wait !  ok

It's an affectionate way of telling the audience to be safe and avoid trouble. The po-po is slang for the police force in the United States. And usually means they are regarded as slightly untrustworthy.

Maybe not in the suburbs, but if you step on the other side of your white picket fence, popo is still in effect along with 5-0 and One Time.

If you really want to know who started the slang word "po-po", it started from N.W.A with Ice Cube and Eazy mutha f'ing E on there first record N*ggars with Attitude. And we all know Axl and his love for gangsta rap and especially N.W.A., he used to wear that hat all the time on stage. I think I even heard a bootleg of him raping and covering boys n tha hood from them. But that is where it came from, it started in Southern Cali on the streets and went onto there. NWA just made big, Axl uses it as a way to tell people be safe and don't be stupid and get pulled over for a DUI or anything like that. He knows people come to the show and drink and have a good time and just wants everybody to get home safe and not end up in jail. Can't fault him for that!

Really, what part of the Untied States?  Never heard that term.

No one uses it anymore. It was slang about 10 years ago. It's up there with "bling". LOL

Maybe not in the suburbs, but if you step on the other side of your white picket fence, popo is still in effect along with 5-0 and One Time.

Er, no it's not. And I'm pretty sure, based on what I do for a living, that if it was still used regularly, I'd hear it. 5-0 is still used. I will give you that.

My fault, yet again that we are off topic.  Somebody start the Happy Holidays GNR thread before the world ends, the day's not over with yet.
