Yowza!

« on: July 31, 2006, 11:46:32 AM »

Not only did he come through last night closing the show at Wembley, but he also helped Axl in NYC when he was having vocal problems, performed very well with Axl during My Michelle, and has been a big supporter of the new band.

Thank you Mr. Bach!  beer

*co-signs*, sebastian is a great guy! peace

the way baz respects axl and helps this band is really overwhelming, from the radio show in may to opening for the band on this tour, culminating in the incredibly nice gesture of stepping in for axl last night! thank you baz! beer

He's a stand-up guy for doing that.  He could have simply walked of stage and ended the show there cause it's not his band or his ass.  But he opted not to do that.  He gave the fans a 'proper' finale.  Kudos to him!

He seemed to be loving it during Paradise City once he got into it, he even initiated the band bowing which was a bit cheeky  Grin

DEFINATELY.  dont know who else could have stalked onstage with as much energy as him and just thrown himself into it like that.

Legend.  And i liked the fact that the crowd were encouraging on the whole as well.  Actually, my friend who had to leave early is extremely jealous that we saw Seb singing PC.

Thanks Seb - you're a star.  beer

'Stalked onstage' - great choice of words.  You're absolutely right, he reminds me of a panther (or perhaps, lion would be more appropriate with that great mane of his) prowling around the cage at feeding time.  And he one of those performers who looks totally at home on stage.

He did do very well on Nightrain and Paradise City yesterday - so much so that non-gnr fans i went to the show with rated him far higher than Axl and left in search of Skid Row albums....

Well done Seb, ur the most natural gifted vocalist out there

Well the stage was filled with about a dozen people by that point, an army of midgets and so much confetti

...it was pretty hard at that point to work out who was doing what - 4 guitars creates one hell of a lot of noise!

But it was pretty impresive - shame the audience was pre-occupied with a vanishing frontman

Infact for GNR's next tour they should drop Axl and bring in Seb - Seb actually talks to the crowd as well and shows an awareness of which city he's in....

Baz is a class act, and has done nothing but sing the new band's praises and rave about how good the record is...Baz came through when a lot of other guys would have said "eh, such is life."

Baz is a legend, the Baz sets themselves were super....no need for BFMV IMO

Always will be for me one of the best three singers along with Rose and Patton
