While I"m not a big VR fan by any means...Slither is a kick ass song.  At the very least you introduced me to a new radio station to listen too at work.  Thanks.

No need for harassment guys.

It seemed to be some kind of big announcement. I wasn't trying to jerk anyone around. Just that you don't get too many "big announcements" - and he made it sound like it was something huge.

I clearly said that there prob. wasn't anything to it, but when you tease it before GN'R, and make it right after VR, you start thinking...

If it helps, I just called and told him that he let me down! Basically said that he made it sound like he had a huge CD/concert announcement. He said, and he has a valid point, that he wanted to make some noise about it - can't blame him. He did apologize if I felt strung along though and asked if he could do anything for me while I was on the line - since he already played GN'R, I politely declined!

I think some stations have figured out that if you correlate GNR to ANYTHING these days, there will automatically be a bigger buzz. I mean, was it a coincidence that they played GNR as they said they were going to "answer the #1 question"? No....
