from mygnr.. ----------------------------------------------------- Axl got into a fight at a Basketball Game, NO links ...just saw it on a ESPN Brief Options? ?

It was sooo quick I don't have much more to offer at the moment. Apparently, he went on the court and starting yelling at a player or something and got a black eye...?
I searched high and low for more and was disappointed there is nothing on the internet about it yet but, hey I'm sure more will come out about any minute now....I'll keep my eyes & ears open...if someone else finds it before me...go ahead and delete my thread...for I NOT give a FUck!! _______________________________________________________________________________ sent to me by "purplehaze"

So who supposedly gave him the black eye? Maybe one of Larry Johnson's 15 illegitimate kids.

What this is all abous is Jim Rome on his national sports show mentioned the incident from last week where Axl got something in his eye and then proceeded to knock NY Knicks player Stephan Marbury down. ?No big deal and kind of a dead/old story. ?

It's stuff like this that just makes me realize that the "GN'R Lies" album cover was the most accurate depiction of what Guns N' Roses is all about ever... Hence it's my avatar. If Axl did this... he really should be institutionalized. Hell, I'll drive him there myself.

I love the LIES cover...it really sums up just how big GNR was at the time - EVERYBODY wanted a piece of them. If Slash farted and it smelled worse then normal it would be a headline.

Maybe the truth has came out that Axl was the one who threw the cup at Ron Artest and that what started the fued with the Pacers and the Pistons over a year and a half ago. If this was the truth then we would of had more news than someone saying it was on ESPN.

The only tihng worse then a slow news day is a FAKE news day!! I mean do you guys know how big of a story this would be. If Jonny Lunch Box got punched on the court it'd be the opening story of EVERY sports show out there.....but if an A list celeb gets hit, oh my god, it'd be on CNNs ticker....ok maybe not, but you get my point. This is OBVIOUSLY not true.

I agree. This is 100% BULLSHIT. I just watched 2 hours of ESPN to catch up on the latest free agent signings in the NFL(and other things), and Axl was never mentioned.
