It's worth a little bit, depends on the condition though. A few years ago I bought a sealed lp with the rape cover on ebay. It cost me about $80. I doubt the value has gone up much from that, if it's even gone up at all. If you have an old scuffed cd or tape it probably isn't worth too much. Check www.ebay.com to see the going rates.

I'm just glad they changed the cover to the cross n' skulls, that rape cover is terrible, whereas the design that exists now is awesome.

in the new australian edition of kerrang, there is an article on guns and it says there were only 30,000 copies with the rape scene,

I bought 2 of the original vinyls with the rape cover on for ?3!!!!! at a car boot sale in Birmingham, UK.

Thought I could sell at least one, but they don't seem to be worth loads.

I bought one  vinyl with the rape cover sometime ago... in a "disco trade show" (don't know if in english is named this way...)

The guy who sold me the vinyl don't seems to known so much about Guns'N'Roses because he sells the 2 versions of the cover (the rape & the censured) for the same price!! mmmm 10 euros I think  it price was...

what about the Original LIES cover... That one is much more rare than the Rape cover....The original LIES cover is hardly on ebay...

Its the one that says in the bottom left corner
"Wife Beating has been around for over 10,000 years"

The feminists complaned about this cover as well..

No doubt.  The cross cover is the best album cover I've ever seen and overall one of the most memorable in rock history.  I can't imagine AFD without it.

what was the reason for this change??

Dude the feminists or the Spouse abuse whatever put pressure on the label coz it "Promotes spouse abuse" or what ever.. there are even less of those original LIES covers then there are of the original AFD Rape covers... If you have one keep it!!

I saw one in Japan when i asked the DJ at this shit bar if i could see what GnR they had.. just for curiousity i looked at the Lies CD... sure as shit it was the original.. it was fucking beat to hell though....
