"The CD will include a tribute to John Lennon and another about child abuse"
Quote from axl...

"Catcher In The Rye" should be a Lennon tribute

I think it's in the RS interview.

But that interview wasm ade years ago. I don't think we can expect any song we know (at least by name) to be on the album. Maybe Axl rewrote all lyrics, delets every recorded song on the first day of every week... Who knows?

Live and let die remix?

that was Paul McCartney.... who knows what song, maybe the song title has not leaked yet...

i dont really want to hear about Child abuse.. that sounds like that gay Suicide song that Good Charlotte or Blink 182 did....

This was all word of mouth from 3 years ago, and i wonder how much of it is actually what Axl said and how much was lost in traslation from portugese to english..
the article has a few grammar errors in it..

Since this Pool sit down was done they have changed 2 guitar players , lost Paul and added Richard, Lost Buckethead and added?Huh?

its all speculation in my opinion.....

I heard axl telling several times that the album will include a bonus track...
is there any rumours beyond that.

As deleting songs... NOT

I think TWAT (there was a time) was about axls childhood abuse.

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

Axl has a brilliant way of churning out amazing lyrical metaphors, so the song wouldn't necessarily have to literally be a song *about* child abuse.

Yeah, musically it's the same. I thought first right next door to hell was about living on the edge, but when i found out that it was about the neighbour it didn't become a tutnoff anyway. Smiley
