Title: Who'd like Buckethead as special-guest?

Say I! :D

He'd share his soda, so why not stage?
Also maybe Buckethead would enjoy playing some of his stuff on Chinese with them, without the boundaries. : ok:

I believe if Buckethead would rejoin, GNR really could take over the world again and reinvent rock music.

I :headbanger:

since robin isn't likely to tour with them i think Buckethead would be a suitable replacement

I'd love to see him playing his solos on the next tour, but as a guest, as a band member definitely NOT.

I'm quite satisfied with this guitar team: RON, ROBIN AND RICHARD!

(i know we're not sure on robin ststus, but lets hope)

 ;D

Ron Thal and Buckethead sharing a same stage would be...orgasmic.  :hihi:

As long as Robin is not involved (I'm assuming the rift between BH and Finck is legitamate), I could see BH being involved in some Izzy-like capacity during the tour; coming and going as he pleases.

As cool as Ron is, I'd like to hear Bucket play the solo to "There Was A Time" at least once if possible.

Me... :peace:

It would be so sad not havin' him playin' his own solos (well in fact they're Gn'R solos n' BBF showed with TWAT last's solo that he could fit in)...

Can't imagine another guitarist playin' Sorry solo alive...  Too much feelin' for BBF, too much "perfection" for Finck (we know that he don't like the "note by note" interpretation n' improvisation is what we love 'bout him... ), maybe Richard, but...

Nah, I want to see the current band shine...as much as I appreciate the Izzy walk-ons, it would not be the same with Bucket, IMO.  Would I complain or take a beer break when he plays (if he showed up) - hell no! I would just rather hear BBF/DJ's take on these songs.

it def wouldn't have the same effect as having Izzy come on as Izzy is known by everyone in the crowd.  The casual fan might have no idea who bucket even is.

Would love to see him onstage, even just for a few shows, or a few songs.

I really appreciate Ron alot, but I always kind of wish somehow there would be a chance for Buckethead to return. Although I thought Robin going back to NIN would have opened the door to him again.. but I guess it couldn't happen.

Robin and Bucket did their time...we should be lucky Axl was able to land them to begin with...and boy did they shine together!  Ron and DJ will be great, but Bucket and Fink were a rare combination for sure.

Since the next tour will promote Chinese Democracy I'd really like to see Buckethead and Robin back on stage with a guest appearance by Bumblefoot. These guys worked on the album, they're their songs so, in a perfect world, they should perform 'em. Don't think it will happen but who knows. NIN will stop touring soon and if Buckethead is available...
