I Am Inconquerable

« on: April 21, 2004, 11:32:52 AM »

Who do you think is a better singer?

Eric Dover (Original Snakepit singer)
Rod Jackson (Second Snakepit singer)
Scott Weiland (Current Velvet Revolver frontman)

My vote goes to Scott Weiland ok

Everything Louder Than Everything Else

Rod Jackson.  He was brilliant on ALG.  Such power and agression.  Although, I hasven't heard a lot of Scott Weiland...but what I did hear I didn't really find that impressive.

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference.  His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked. ~ Izzy Stradlin

Scott Weiland was the lead singer of one of the best rock band's of the 90's (Top 5 at least).  These names shouldn't be in the same thread.

Agreed...

Its almost the same as the Buckethead/Slash argument: Buckethead is technically better, but Slash is just plain better.  As far as Im concerned, Weiland is one of the greatest frontmen out there right now.

Eric Dover is my favorite out of the 3.  Even though i hate Weiland, I still like him more than Rod Jackson.  That man was a waste.
