Here Today... Gone To Hell! 8th anniversary

Eight years ago today, the first version of this web site was uploaded to the webserver at a free web host.

Who knew I'd still be doing this eight years later in 1996!  Grin



Thanks to everybody who helped in one way or another and all the people who make this board what it is.  ok

I never thought this board would have the impact on my life that is has but it has made an unbelievable significant impact on my life.

I guess I've been here for a few years now and a lot of things have changed for me and the website. I remember that for a year or so I didn't really come to the message board and visited the mainsite only for news and remembered how cool it was that there was a Finnish guy with a website that was so well maintained and that had a layout which wasn't so dark (I think it was during the 'white' era)..

Then at one point I came here, lurked for a month or two and on one day decided to post my first post... My posts were a bit different back then (at least a _lot_ longer) but so was I (not in the sense of longer/taller but, well.. different). I guess the main reason being that there was a lot more going on and to be analysed than Axl's hair, but there's also the factor that I had a lot more time.

But anyways... I guess what I'm trying to say here is...

Thank you for enslaving me under your tyranny and destroying all my social life beyond the message board for the last few years...

Oh and I'm looking forward to many more...
