I don't know for sure, but I looked around and I couldn't find anything that said the show has been picked up for another season, maybe it still will be.

Some of the cast members are making appeals to E!.

I've heard that the show will likely be renewed but with Duffy and AJ as the only holdovers from last year.

The Perla rumors have been around for a while and I've again heard Jennifer Morrison  (Billy Morrison's wife) has been approached.  Her story would be a bit more substantial than that of the likes of Josie Stevens or Etty Ferrell's - Jennifer's a lawyer in LA......

All unconfirmed of course.

Really, that's interesting.  But not surprising, from the little I've seen, the Duffy/AJ story line has been of most interest.  I wonder if Duff and Susan didn't wan't to do another episode or if E! decided to exclude them.

And if Josie Stevens is gone -- she's part of the reason I couldn't get past episode 2. Cheesy

A new unconfirmed date has popped up, playing the "Sinners Day" fest Oct. 30th in Belgium.

Ian's probably over the moon playing on the same bill as Patti Smith, one of his favorites.

TESTAMENT Taps Drummer JOHN TEMPESTA For ANTHRAX Tour - Sep. 7, 2011

San Francisco Bay Area thrashers TESTAMENT have tapped their former drummer John Tempesta (EXODUS, WHITE ZOMBIE, ROB ZOMBIE, HELMET, THE CULT) to sit behind the kit for the band's upcoming U.S. tour with ANTHRAX and DEATH ANGEL. The trek is scheduled to kick off on October 14 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Due to a "serious injury," regular TESTAMENT drummer Paul Bostaph is unable to take part in the trek. Paul was also absent from the recording sessions for TESTAMENT's new album, "The Dark Roots Of Earth", tentatively due in February 2012 via Nuclear Blast Records. Playing drums on the follow-up to 2008's "The Formation Of Damnation" is Gene "The Atomic Clock" Hoglan (ex-DARK ANGEL, ex-STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, FEAR FACTORY, DETHKLOK), with LAMB OF GOD's Chris Adler set to make a special guest appearance on a couple of bonus tracks.

Commented Tempesta: "I haven't left THE CULT. I'm just helping these guys [TESTAMENT] out for this tour since Paul is still injured."

Although Tempesta recorded only two studio albums with TESTAMENT (1994's "Low" and 2001's "First Strike Still Deadly", a collection of re-recordings of songs from "The Legacy" and "The New Order"), he left a lasting impression on TESTAMENT guitarist Eric Peterson. "John is definitely one of the best drummers in the country," Peterson remarked. "He has the power of John Bonham, the finesse of Carter Beauford, and the aggression of Dave Lombardo. As a drummer, John really has it all."

I'm not quite sure what to think about this but...

The former girlfriend Ian wrote "Fire Woman" for (Renee Beach) has an "Official" FB page and for whatever reason, I found it worth a look.

Renee's not the person maintaining the page, a Cult fangirl is behind the curtain.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Firewoman-Renee-Beach-Official/262339650466160#!

There's a Q and A with her here:

http://www.facebook.com/groups/sacredsoulcultfamily/doc/10150360039051635/

She's an interesting person beyond her relationship with Ian some 20 odd years ago, she's styled many bands, celebs etc over the years..

An interesting factoid, Renee's the person responsible for taking Axl Rose from this:

So GN'R/Axl hired her years ago, I didn't know that.

There are a few photos on the Facebook page, I think I recognize Duff and Matt.

She did the Axl makeover around the time before The Cult took GNR out on the road for the North American leg of the "Electric World Tour".  Not sure if it was as a hired stylist or a favor...

Another interesting factoid, If I remember correctly today is the 24th anniversary of my seeing GNR and The Cult at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, TX - Sept 13, 1987.  yes

I bet it was a good show.

It was cool, GNR was just beginning to break with AFD and The Cult had transformed themselves from a post punk/gothic band to a full on 5 piece hard rock outfit with the release of "Electric".

I remember the crowd being so diverse - goths, bikers, alterna kids...
