I too feel the same way. I'm not a fan of the leafs, but as luck would have I just tuned in for a few mins ( hoping for a leaf beating) and I caught this comerical. This is the first time I've seen a comerical for the album. Is this possibly the first comerical aired? |

Yeah that's a great way to get the word out to Canadians. I wouldn't choose hockey to reach out to the US though. Monday Night Football would be sweet, or any football games on Sunday would work. The World Series tomorrow maybe? Should get pretty big ratings (even though the ratings have been pretty low so far) with all the craziness surrounding the game. |

Just so everyone's aware....The Best Buy and Walmart exclusive deals that bands are doing these days are only in effect in the United States. So people in Canada and everywhere else will be able to get the cd at any music store. I wasn't aware of this until I saw Black Ice EVERYWHERE and then the rock station here was saying that those exclusive deals were only for the US.

Sweet! I wish I was watching the game, just to see that, but I was tied up with work bah.
And yeah like JeffK said the exclusive with best buy is only in the US - in Canada you will be able to get it anywhere which now basically only means hmv, wal mart, future shop, best buy, and itunes....and all ur local indies and such.
Can't wait to see some more promo cuz it gets me even more excited about it and it's weird how many ppl still don't seem to know about it coming out.
