Personally do not expect any new material or cd's from the band. I would expect a US Tour, and would love to see There Was A Time be a regular. I would also like to expect an Atlantic City show !!!!

An US tour doesn't seem that unlikely considering the band has toured almost everywhere else.

But I have no idea when that would happen and if anything would happen before it.

I think it makes more sense as well

God I hope your right Jarmo!  I am praying so hard for this-desperately need my  fix for more live GnR, especially on my home turf I will absolutely see as many shows as possible if they do.

Plus this band has become a well-oiled machine, an unstoppable Juggernaut Live & Axl's voice is simply stunning! I know the US fans are the most fickle, but if they witness what I saw in London then I know they will find out for themselves how awesome this band has become & I want my friends to see that as well.

GnR is simply the best fucking live rock band out there today- so please AxL & the boys come the the US & kick our ASSES!!!  beer

I'm sure DJ wouldn't have joined the band unless there was a proper long-term plan peace

Not that I dare to expect anything there surely is something planned.

I expect some pretty great stuff - either the US tour and the RIR gig or new material (the remix CD, the live DVD...). Smiley

i expect nothing
maybe some shows.. and then nothing
You didn't expect Chinese Democracy to be released at all, did you?
dude we heard the almost the whole records months before it was realased, after the big leaks
the whole "i am waiting for the album" became obsolete and boring... i was already cranking the shit out of the "new" songs in my stereo

U.S. TOUR
CHANGE IN SETLIST
CLASSICS SONG & CHIN.DEM. DISC

- S O O N -

do you really believe in change setlist..
dude they played more CD songs in RIR 2001 than the average of cd songs they are playing now
setlist wont change until they realase a new record.. and that aint gonna happen any time soon

My bet is on a US tour.  HUGE tour.  I would like to be with Buckcherry and X Japan.  That would be an amazing set!

X Japan
Buckcherry
GnR

Maybe a CD 2 and a release of Appetite remastered and replayed!

No doubt it would be a U.S. tour! I would say that Madison Square Garden would be the first stop. Buckcherry would be a great fit for this tour.  Btw, PHILLY SUCKS!!! Lets Go NY and the NY Giants. Sorry, I'm still venting over that stupid loss!:)

I love Baz...but I think that after 4 years touring with GnR...it is time to pass on to another one...My opinion....

X Japan are releasing a cd this year in the states...And I know that Fortus loves them...and even played with them some time.....I would definitly fit in X Japan in this gig....And Buckcherry

I really like X Japan, I discovered them after Richard and Robin did Endless Rain as their guitar solo in Japan in 2007. But in saying that I don't think they will ever tour together simply because they don't need each other, they are both big bands. And also there is a big cultural difference between the two bands, which probably won't make sense in a live environment.

And I'm saying that as a supporter of X Japan, I really do like them and Hide was a super guitarist. But Guns N' Roses are a whole different animal, and are much bigger on a worldwide scale. And I do know that X Japan are huge in Asia, but on a worldwide scale they are not as big, and that is purely because of the cultural thing, not because of their talent. But in also saying that, they can still sell out big venues around the world I imagine, which is why they wouldn't need to open for anyone.

I'm really stuck when I think of who should open for GN'R, can't think of anyone straight away really.  Tongue

I wish X Japan would open for GN'R, but just don't see it happening because of reasons on both sides.  Wink

X Japan are not really popular here in North America.  They juste made several shows in NA, and hardly sold them out in small venues.  We know who they are because of GnR...but the usual people don't.  That is why I think they would be a great opener for GnR.  And GnR would be the perfect fit for them.  They would have the chance to make a name by opening for such a great band!

But hey...that is just a taught.

Still, Buckcherry is a class act too.  And would pump the crowd really good before GnR comes onstage!

Singing Crazy bitch just before GnR comes on stage.....would pump the girls to get half naked....We would have a great show!

You know what, you are right.  Grin

X Japan opening for Guns N' Roses would be a great way for them to be exposed to the General American public. I wish it would happen, I just thought that X Japan where big enough to sell out big arenas on their own in America. I guess I never realised just how much America need to hear this great band, and what better way for that to happen, than to open for the best band ever Guns N' Roses.

No I want it to happen even more.  Wink

Well for me, i would love to see Korn opening up for GNR in the US.

Korn was my favorite band back in the 90s before i turned to GNR and i saw them Live, they're awesome! So it would be a 2 on 1 package  hihi
