Cool show! Thanks for the updates, live streams, pics, etc.  I was a little worried that somebody would fuck up the show for everyone because of the late start but it seems everything (and everybody) was cool and it turned out to be another great late show.   ok

I don't believe there's a reason...

« Reply #135 on: April 05, 2010, 05:05:53 AM »

It's not about tradition or whasoever. The wait was boring, almost killed me. People were fucking tired before the show. They were booing until Axl sing the first verses of Chinese, then almost everyone was singing along (I was on the VIP area, don't know if people on the normal floor were singing along) and I was like "WOW"! Didn't expect that. Got a few clips, but don't know if they're watchable. Axl's voice sounded goddamn strong until the end of the show. This was his best This I Love performance ever imo - and I recorded it. Cheesy I almost couldn't hear Axl's fucking strong WTTJ screams, the crowd was insane. They were singing along even the new songs.
Oh, yeah, Bumblefoot playing our national anthem was a sweet surprise! Everyone loved it.
His Nightrain solo was insane, btw! People were pointing at him when he was "rolling" on the floor playing the end of Whole Lotta Rosie. hihi
I'm about to travel back to my city and I've seen people wearing GnR shirts everywhere, it's even funny... hihi

GNR Rules!!!!

« Reply #139 on: April 05, 2010, 08:30:33 AM »

Great Night! Worth the wait!  Cool

Baz is the man!

The band was tight, DJ is so energetic, Richard is a monster, bumblefoot is just perfect, and Axl... the man is the beast with his mic... absolutely wonderful, he sings better than ever. For me, "better" was the highlight of the night, DJ?s guitar was so loud! And this band rules playing Nightrain too!

Aftershow, I could meet DJ, Frank, Chris (drunk!), Dizzy (absolutely drunk!) and Bumblefoot backstage. Took photos and they signed my CD booklet. Chris signature was literally a "dick"  rofl. Absolutely perfect night!

I was the winner of the contest, and all I can say is that Ron is fuckin?great guy, he is so polite and nice to all of us. We love you man! Nice meeting you!

And the mix was absolutely wonderful, we could hear the guitars and axl?s voice so loud and perfect. The place was packed, great to see how we love GNR here in Brazil Wink
