They are not open half way down the side, that's broke.  Nice toilet but put a wall around that.

Hopefully Axl's Montezuma's Revenge hasn't lingered!   hihi

Just an incredible fucking show.

random trivia, just found out the opening act's Taylor Momsen was actually little Cindy Lu Hoo in the Grinch movie about 10 years ago.
I wish I could have enjoyed her entire set.  Cry

They are fuckin awesome, IMO.

Can't seem to figure out how to get them on here.

GRreat photos backstage!  Check out those cowboy boots!  Those have to be the same ones Axl had years ago; or at least the old trinkets he had on them then now on these new ones.  There are a lot of photos around from back in da day with Axl in his cowboy boots and all those trinkets and bandana wrapped around them; I believe there is a great outtake from the photo shoot that for "AFD" where you can clearly see his boots; I have the poster in room actually; all the band members sitting on the floor leaning against a wall together.

the show was incredible. i can't say much else that hasn't already been said about this tour. i was there with 15 friends/family - none of which i would consider a die-hard fan and none would have been there if not for me buying the tix - and everyone of them loved the show. i have gotten several text messages that said it was probably the best show they have ever seen, Axl sounded amazing, and this band rocks.

my dad was there too. he's 68 and took me to see gnr in 1988 when i was 13. he took me to a bunch of shows from the time i was 12-15 (bruce, crue, stones, and others). he saw gnr twice back in the late 80's early 90's and had never seen the new band. i was glad gnr played here and that he was able to go. he was blown away. he couldn't stop talking about it yesterday. he said it was on par with the best shows he has ever seen (Elvis, Bruce in '84, Stones in '78, GnR in '91 are his favs).

i thought the crowd was really into it. i was in the 4th row behind the pit and it was a little crazy up there. i heard no one complaining about the late start time and there were no boos. it seemed like alot of people knew what to expect. they came on right at 11 and played until 1:50AM.

the highlights for me were hearing Shackler's live for the first time - sounded great! first 4 songs were just incredible, as always. and this band just kills Nightrain.

I met some great folks, among them Sandman from HTGTH along with his dad and crew.
(btw, I'd love to hear your dad's take on the show...) cool folks.

After a few minutes, with that going nowhere, (he was staggering on his feet, so I supported him all the way) I got him to a bathroom stall.  He was in there for a good amount of time.  I stood outside his stall standing guard.  I must have seen hundreds of guys filing in to use the bathroom.  If you saw a really drunk bald guy being propped up by a dorky tall dude, you saw us!  hihi  He was looking better but obviously not great as he still needed me supporting him to walk.
A security guard recommended he visit medical.  I thought that was a good idea.

Axl4Prez  - it was great meeting you, dude! we've communicated for years in various threads on this board so it was cool to actually meet you in person. it's always cool to put a face to a name too. you and your crew are cool people.

my dad absolutely loved the show! he was blown away by this band and how great axl sounds.

sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, and i have to ask....is that the guy that was getting on me and everyone else for drinking Coors Light?

it was really cool meeting you and your wife. i wish we could have hung out a little longer. i didn't get in there until after 10 so by the time i grabbed some beers and waited in line for the men's room, it was almost show time.

and thanks for being understanding with those tickets you bought from me. i know i threw you a major curveball the day of the show, so thanks again.  ok

You're welcome.

Here's a portion of Whole Lotta Rosie:
http://youtu.be/wL1M-pUuH28

I dropped the ball in getting it from the start and missed Axl's cool ass backstep moves he kicks into in the beginning. The one where he kicks his left leg back while moving from the front of the stage to the drum set. His best move ever, IMO.

Watching video of "NR" from this show; fantastic, but didn't realize until watching that Axl skipped the ENTIRE second verse!  Wow.  Glad Richard was ready to play the solo earlier than expected!
