Have you ever misheard any GN'R lyrics? I did, especially back when my english was even worse than it is now...

Some lyrics that I misheard:

from DON'T CRY (ALT. LYRICS)

"If I was selling valium..." instead of "If I was standing by you..."

from NOVEMBER RAIN

"Rockets in the pocket..." instead of "Or I'll just end up walking..."

How about you?

From Dead Horse: "Maybe if I looked real hard I'd see a giant too."

Twin Peaks was popular at the time, I was eleven years old, and it all made sense? Smiley

"mama did try and understand" instead of moment to trie and understand, in breakdown

"little money i bring in town" insted of "everybody always brings me down, breakdown

"when there ain't no bitches around" instead of but there ain't no piece to be found, breakdown

I never thought this one myself, but I saw it on a calander of misheard lyrics once, and if you listen for it you can kind of hear how someone might get it confused...

Take me down to the Prairie Dog City (Rather than Paradise City)

Don't Cry (alternate lyrics)

I thought he song was "if we can see tomorrow, water your plants." when it is actually "if we could see tomorrow, what of your plans." neither of them make real sense to me...

Ok, I'm not trying to be funny as Saffron has, but I do remember not too long ago I thought in Paradise City Axl sang " Captain America is gonna fuck now" instead of " C.A's been torn apart now"

In Estranged, two parts that I only recently discovered were wrong:

1.  "You can end in this world alone"-->...the real lyrics are "You came in this world alone."

2.  "Many times, to read between the lines"--> the real lyrics are "Give it time, to read between the lines."

And on Yesterdays, the real lyrics are "no time to plant my feet."  I always thought it was "no time to play my beat."

There's actually a whole page of misheard GN'R lyrics :
http://www.amiright.com/misheard/artist/gunsnroses.shtml

My favourites :
- "Fuck off, banana face" instead of "Fucked up, and out of place"
- "My pants are tight" instead of "My hands are tied"
- "Trapped in the perils of the doughnut park" instead of ""Captain America's been torn apart"

Lots of imagination here  hihi

My best friend also thought the same thing.  Plus, I have a rare bootleg disc of GNR playing Used To Love Her.  On the internet, it is titled as "GNR Unplugged".  I think the last three or four songs are from there accoustic set in New York.  Anyway, I'm almost positive that on the first Used To Love Her recording on that disc, the boys say "tequila" rather than "to kill her".  Why wouldn't they?   lol

When I first heard Dead Horse I thought it said:
"Sometimes I feel like I?m in the gheto" when It actually  said: "Sometimes I feel like I?m beating a Dead Horse"
