Stay tuned for a big announcement! #GunsnRoses

Hmm..

I don't think it confirms Adler is in though. The hashtag on the end there is strange though, especially if the announcement has got nothing to do with GNR.

On the other hand, they're saying stay tuned, while at the same time giving away that it's GNR? That's sort of strange too.  hihi

This is good, I was sure he was going to make an appearance anyway. I guess we might get the fairytale ending after all.

OR... in the ultimate slap in the face, his show was cancelled in favor of Guns N' Roses (Axl, Slash, Duff, Richard, and Frank) playing a warmup show for Vegas.

There are a lot of things that are unclear here. If Adler's in, what about Frank pretty much confirmed to be in (leaving for LA early in the year and the drum skin auction)?

If Adler's in, is it for a one-off, permanently or guesting for a couple songs each night?

Or is Adler not in at all?

That.... would be borderline comical.

Man, people, including me, are flying from all over the world to be there at the first show with axl and slash. I have to say it would suck if they played a show before that.

I guess thats already happened in a way to people though? Some GNR fans bought tickets to Coachella thinking they were the first dates, then a week or 2 or whatever it was later the vegas shows got announced...

i guess you just never know wtf is going to happen next with GNR.  Wink

Well, the press release for vegas specifically said, it will be the first time the world will see axl and slash together

I would say it's for a guest appearance. Adler will play a bunch of AFD tracks. Be cool if he took on Civil War or some other Illusions track that he would've been playing had he not got so fucked up and got fired. Good for Steven and good for the fans. It's a nice gesture

You know what?  Good.

I'm tired of hearing about the guy, honestly.  And listening to how his exclusion is the biggest miscarriage of justice since the O.J. verdict.  It's enough already.

Now we can pivot to how he wasn't allowed to play on enough songs.  Or not on the songs you wanted.  We'll find some other cause.
