A review of the show:

Guns N' Roses invaded Mexico City

Ok here we go, The show started exactly at 12:08 am (Mexico City / U.S. Central time) with the first chords of Chinese Democracy...

The setlist was the following:
Intro
Chinese Democracy
Welcome To The Jungle
It's So Easy
Mr Brownstone
Sorry
Better
Estranged
Richard Fortus Solo (James Bond)
Live And Let Die
This I Love
Rocket Queen
Dizzy Solo (Baba O' Raily)
Street Of Dreams
You Could Be Mine
DJ Ashba Solo (Mi Amor)
Sweet Child O' Mine
Riff Raff
November Rain
Bumblefoot Solo (Pink Panther)
Don't Cry
Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Whole Lotta Rosie
Nightrain

Encore:

Madagascar
Paradise City

Axl's voice could hardly be heard in the first two songs but since It's So Easy to the end of the show you could hear a voice close to perfection especially in Estranged, Better and Madagascar.

During KOHD Axl slipped with something on the right side of the stage remained crouched but he didn't stop singing, Bumblefoot offered his help to get up but Axl refused it and stood up by itself to keep singing.

For the encore instead of playing patience, Richard and Bumblefoot played a guitar solo that I could not identify what song it was, then Madagascar and finally Paradise City.

Axl delivered his classic words "Good Fuckin 'Night" and the whole band went backstage for a few minutes. Then they came back together to say goodbye to the audience, Axl pronouncing the words "Muchos gracias se?ores y se?oritas, hope to see you again soon, be safe, we love you. Thank You Mexico City, Good night!" exactly at 3:00 am with a big Mexico flag on the screens (As you can see on coche's pics).

I can say that the audience response was magnificent, singing every song, and expressed his excitement to the band.

Attendance for the night, according to a local radio station of 28,000+ people.

Why does there always seem to be issues with hearing Axl?  Be it a mic malfunction, sound problem or just an audience drowning him out.  I usually find myself thinking the BAND is too loud and if it is simply an equipment issue why doesn't it affect everyone?  And it isn't the crowd just being loud either, I've watched dozens of shows, in and outdoors, and GNR is one of the few in which I can even hear my own crappy voice little less the drunk guy's next to me!  The one person in the world I most want to hear is Axl damnit!

The show didnt start at 12.08 , it started like 12.20

I think the problem with hearing Axl voice its on the venue, my brother told me that at the back of the venue the sound was excelent, but somewhere in the middle the sound wasnt always that good. This place is known like "el palacio de los rebotes" meaning something like the "rebound palace" due to the weird accoustic of the place.

Well......There you go. One of my fav songs and watching that vid. Just "incredible" esp at the end of the song. No hiding behind shades, real up close and personal. This band and Axl really do have it. The feel is amazing especially with these musicians. Gonna book some tickets for the US right now. Thanks for posting...gonna listen again
