Here Today... Fuck The Hell

« on: December 29, 2010, 12:46:18 PM »

Thanks to Gisela on beenafix.com -> recording pics can be found there.

A session was held at Brotheryn Studios (same as Wave Of Heat studio) earlier this month - Dec 4 till Dec 16 with the usual band except Rick Richards. Instead there's Timo Kaltio again (he's the one who took the cool pics). Timo co-wrote and played on 2 songs on 'Fire' and 3 songs on 'Smoke'. And for the rest ofcourse he's been involved with Hanoi Rocks and co-wrote Right Next Door To Hell with Izzy (he came up with the chorus).

No words yet on whether Rick was involved earlier in sessions or will be in the future, only thing known is that Timo played guitars and they recorded 2 tracks a day.

Izzy always has some good stuff up his sleeve, and I wish it got more recognition.

If Izzys solo material was released in the 50-60s, it would be huge. People had an appreciation for melody and proper songs, back then, than they have today.

Izzy is a song writing genius.  ok

To be honest, in my view, I have never known better songwriters than Axl and Izzy ever. They just know how to structure a song, and make it awesome with all the right layers.
