If you're not a rock star - at least act like one

« on: January 28, 2009, 04:57:18 PM »

Here's how it goes. You have to choose five songs in a row on the record, for example 1-5 or 7-11, but not 1-3, 5-6 or 13-14, 1-3. Okay?

My pick: 10-14

10 - Sorry
11 - I.R.S.
12 - Madagascar
13 - This I Love
14 - Prostitute

That's a good set, probably my second choice.  Tops for me is 3-7 (Better, SOD, If I Love, TWAT, and Catcher).  Matter of fact it's a rare day when I don't listen to all five of these songs.

Why five tracks?
How did u come up with that number of songs played straight through

Similar to that thread where u had 22 minutes to listen to certain songs while waiting on line at DMV

Well... five songs gives us exactly ten different combinations to choose from if I'm not mistaken. And if you have one or two songs you don't like, maybe you have to not choose your favorite song to avoid them (like I did, with TWAT).

Is that good enough?  Tongue

That's a tough one.  I'd probably go 4-8, or 2-6.

Definitely 2-6

Starts with a new, fast song.  Ends with the best song on the CD.  Great songs in between.

Interesting question...the Saturday after CD was released some mates & I went to watch some footy a few hours from home, we blasted the album all day long. I declared that day that Sorry-IRS-Madagascar-This I Love was the best four in a row to ever appear on an album (by anyone). So to make this decision I just had to decide, "which do I prefer? Riad or Prostitute?" and Riad took it, just

Riad and the Bedouins
