Can't help but think deciding to play Coachella wasnt a great idea.

Most of the reviews i have read have been particularly scathing of GNR. Most of it absolute crap..

It's rather obvious that most of the writers already have their opinions on what they like and dont like, so GNR were always going to come in for some crap.

I'm just not sure it was worth it.

FWIW.. ill be happy when Coachella is over for GNR and they can get back out and play to their own fans who actually appreciate them in an environment that suits both the band and the fans.

Just my 2 cents.

Coachella will gain more interest than you think.  Even if you reach 1/3 of the younger crowds, it's worth it.  Can keep the band relevant.  Also, I'm seeing much more positive than negative.

Don't feed the ignorant egos of the negative trolls......

Any true hard rock fan would appreciate GnFnR's Coachella performance and an appearance by none other than Angus "High Voltage" Young. Angus and Slash together on stage. Come the fuck on now. Mother. Fuckin. Legendary.

And NOW for some POSITIVETY.......

Axl Rose is the biggest baddest motherfucking rock star of all time.

Cheers to him !

I can't wait to see him rock out with Angus at Madison Square Garden.

Slash , Duff and the rest of the band sound amazing.

If three years ago you told me Slash was back with Axl and Axl was fronting ACDC .... you would get laughed at just a little ...

What a time.

Yes, yes, yes.....wickedly well said. Cheers!

Josh is friends with pretty much everyone in GN'R.

Not sure if he ever crossed paths with Richard and Frank, did he?

It reminds me, I missed his set with the Vandals on the stream...

Is that cause you're not looking that hard?  It seems that there are several positive reviews of the show.

I didn't see my first negative on until this morning, LA Times.

Even they didn't kill them.  Just sort of harped on how they were old and not crazy anymore, and actually realiable.

Isn't that a good thing?

Zoinks! Axl singing Whole Lotta Rosie was surprisingly good.  Better than I would have thought.  beer

It'll be interesting to see what he sounds like with the rest of the songs when the AXL/DC concerts kick off!
