Not yet. Last info was that he got 1000 copies pressed and was looking for a distributor.

1000 copies? Come on man! I mean, if Warrant and Slaughter can tour the US and find labels in the US to distribute their albums, why not Izzy?

because Izzy's solo career never sold very well

If u only put out a thousand copies it is somewhat difficult to sell well.....

Lets face it - Izzy just wants to record music, he doesn't care how well it sells - he's already got his 6 platinum plaques - when u have sold 80 million albums i don't think sales are going to be his priority any more

I agree 100% though it would be nice if his albums were a bit more widely distributed.

Yeah, so we wouldn't have to pay $38 for an import CD, which I did for On Down the Road.    >:(

I seem to remember Izzy once saying he was sick of the hassle of record labels and just wanted to make music without the unplesant 'other' side to it - well he seems to have managed that, lol on the topic of limited promotion the guy doesn't even have an official site - he's doing his best to ensure no one realises he's still alive.....

I can't understand why he doesn't tour with VR as an opening act - he was prepared to tour as a member of the band after all.....

This might change a bit this winter. I'll post some official info as soon as I have it...

Nothing to do with VR.

Sound's cool - i would love to see Izzy live, but failing that a new album would be great.

Not at the moment. As soon as I have something concrete I'll post it.

I'm not the kind of guy who likes to spread rumours. Especially about Izzy since I respect everything he stands for...

I dont think it's a problem for Izzy to find a label who wants to release his album, the problem is Izzy agreeing the terms set by the labels....but anyway i'm really looking forward to the record 8) Izzy rocks :smoking:

what i dont understand is why izzy doesnt just have a site where you can order cd's from him online... and he burns them, label them, prints good covers and ships them... that way he dont need a record label or anything.....

Lol - very true

U have to remember Izzy was always bizarre at the best of times - it seems he really doesn't want anyone to hear his stuff

Also - if buring them was too much hassle he could set up a download service so u could pay for them and then d/l them - or if he doesn't want any more money he could just put the songs on a site and let people d/l them for free....

He just doesn't want to do anything right :hihi:

Excellent ideas - he could achieve cult-like status on the web if he did that.

But maybe he's not familiar with the Internet, he might even think it's a big garbage can  :hihi:

please tell me it's not an import album. please!

I think Izzy knows a lot about the internet. Last year he used an email for interacting with the fans...

He also did a small Q&A for his Greek fans... (too small some might say but considering the fact that Izzy keeps himself in the dark, it was like a huge interview...)

When was the Q&A dated from? Did you guys talk to him about VR?  Maybe the babelfish translator on altavista would provide a decent translation. http://world.altavista.com/

There's a translation from french of another Izzy interview in the Dead Horse section - it was a good interview. I guess he likes European interviewers better.

Does anyone know a site with lots of Izzy interviews?
