According to Jarmo, nothing. Management just use this site for some of their purposes seeing as it is the biggest site and Jarmo is nice to them. It's about respect some like to say.

Jarmo does what they ask him to do regarding taking down posts. Management censors certain things here. That is what I gathered form it.

They ask him from time to time to do things for them, usually he honors their requests. Why he does that is a puzzle to some, he claims it's out of respect, others believe management gives him promises of paybacks. Believe what you will. Maybe he's just a nice guy, I don't know.

All this speculation makes it clear to me why s many people are furious with him on other sites... there must be alot more to the story than what people are being told. Otherwise there wouldn't be a problem with talking about the HD ad that leaked early or the rolling stone article that had a rumore about a date that about 25 other sources rumore as well.
