Ended up getting a ticket for Prague as well. Slightly increased my chances of hearing "Coma" live.

See you all there!  beer

Already got Nijmegen and Werchter tickets and now im trying to get golden circle tickets for slane Castle but there is an error everytime I try when I try to pay by creditcard at ticketmaster Ireland. Had the same problem with San diego tickets last summer. A Guy i know in new york bought the tickets then. So when someone is buying tickets for the concert is someone willing to buy me 2 golden circle tickets. Would be amazing

...but I have no idea how is a Formula 1 track as a rock venue. Does anyone know about that? I must say I'm actually a little worried that it's just not at all good but never mind the darkness, we still can find a way smoking

Don't know why it wouldn't be a good place for a concert; lots of space, flat ground, some seats and (I believe) good connections and services as there have been many huge events there. Anyway, I don't think it's very much different from a festival ground.

And it's a very legendary place!

Just bought tickets for The Netherlands show....Golden Circle was sold out already...so if anyone bought those and is willing to trade them or sell them for their normal price I'd be happy to buy them!

Yes, the concern is if there's too much space and you feel disconnected. Even if the place is sold out because of regulations it could feel empty. Surely it's going to be great and you can always join in with the crowd peace

So disappointed that there wasn't even a rumour about Tallinn, Estonia. Their festival ground is the best ever. I was there with Metallica in 2008 or 2009 or whenever it was. Fully packed and no queuing for beer or toilets and still some 80,000 people.

Did our management not know about this or did they not want us? It would've been so easy to skip Finland and go to Tallinn if you can't do both for whatever reasons.

Been a very long time since i posted here!

Got tickets for Slane, Munich and the 2nd London gig (with Aerosmith in Dublin in between those too)

For those asking about Slane, i have been to the last few gigs there.

As an actual concert, it is brilliant, sound is always great and with the hill rising the whole way from the stage, you have a great view no matter where you are.

the logistics around it however are not the best, after all the venue is in a field beside a large castle just outside a small village, so there are no proper parking facilities, the village can't accomadate the crowds, and most of the transport there is by private operators.

getting there is not too bad as everybody comes at different times, I have only ever come from a northern direction (Dundalk) and it is really easy to get too without any delays. At the last gig there, unlike previous years, if you bring your own alcohol, we werent allowed out of the bus park with it, so had to stay in the park and drink whatever we had or leave it behind.

It is a long walk from where the parking is, especially after the gig and it can be dark, but when heading the northern direction the traffic is not too bad leaving so i wouldn't let that put you off going, i have never headed south or Dublin direction after a show there so can't comment on that. I can't see this selling out so the traffic wont be as big a problem as some might think

Or they could do both since Tallin is only a few hours away from H?meenlinna Smiley It would be awesome actually, a very good chance for the fans in Finland and Estonia to see the band twice.

But I think crossing the sea is always too expensive or logistically challenging, the very reason why so many bands skip Finland completely time after time *cough* Pearl Jam *cough*.

Makes little sense to skip Finland altogether in favor of a smaller market....

Many bands/artists have done both though; Aerosmith, Metallica, Madonna... Also, a show in Tallinn attracts people from Finland too (Tallinn itself attracts lots of Finns), so the market isn't that small.

Anyway, I'm glad they didn't skip Finland Cheesy

Is anyone interested in a ticket trade?

I have two Nightrain Golden Circle tickets for Friday night London that I will sell for face value, if I can get two GA tickets at face value for the same show in return.
All my mates are going GA, so I'd prefer to go GA that night (don't worry, I'll be in the circle at Slaine, but GA again London Saturday)

I'm only interested in these tickets going to a real fan at cost price, not making a profit for myself.  I'm guessing no one on here would tout them which is why I'm posting here.
I'm not sure how the logistics of this will work as obviously we won't have the tickets for a while, but we can sort all that out later.

Smaller how? Tickets are apparently pretty much the same and the Tallinn venue takes in nearly double than that in Finland.

Well, not quite double but something like 80,000 v 55,000. Surely as for merc, Finns are a lot richer and can afford it but as mentioned they would go there in their numbers. There would probably be more Finns than locals.

Could possibly be the only venue in the world where there are more foreigners attending than locals hihi
