The story

Kevin Lawrence has spoken to Splat about the forthcoming Rapidfire EP featuring Axl Rose of Guns n'roses.

Asked about the current status of the EP, Kevin told Splat, "We are still mixing the songs, but have not done much for the last 2 months or so. What has been mixed sounds really good, but not just right. While I realize that it was a demo, and analogue, I do want it to be the best sound that it could be."

Asked if his plans had met any reaction from the Guns n'roses camp, Kevin said, "Yeah a bit, but it's all going to be fine".

Bah, i imagine Axl tried to stop it - realised he had no legal grounds and thus dropped the whole thing - its unlikely he's given it his blessing.

I sure hope they dont do 2 extra remixes of each song to fill up the cd.  Like they did with Hollywood Rose.  I want to hear the material but dont want to have to pay $18 for crappy remixes, I just want the raw and rough demos for a fair price. Is that too much to ask for?
