Are the pits connected?  Or Are you stuck to a side?
Wondering as a friend bought left and I have right.

I have to go pick up my tickets today.

I've been to 10 stadium shows in the us and they have all been connected.  I suppose some of the euro pacific shows may not have been or festivals for that matter.

European shows all had one pit - you couldn't buy 'Pit left' and 'pit right'. If you're talking about the upcoming Arena tour, some of those shows do appear to have separate pits with no way to get from one side to the other. I believe that was the case with some of the other US shows too.
Festivals are pretty much irrelevant, as they haven't done any apart from Coachella!

I've been to three - two connected and one (Winston-Salem) had access.

So for Ottawa tonight you could buy pit1 or pit2.  I asked the box office today when I picked up my tickets and dude said he believed they were connected.

In Bangkok the audience map had the pit separated, but in reality it was connected.

One thing I meant to mention, in Atlanta last year they were separated but security didn't care, so we caught the first half of the show on one side and then moved to the other for the second half.
