GnR is unstoppable, but delay-able ;)

Sometimes I ask myself this, why am I still waiting for Chinese Democracy after all these years?

So, this is a little topic where you can put the reasons why you are still waiting and by that maybe inspire other "waiters". Cuz let's face it, at some point even YOU doubted Axl's words!

I'll start of with a simple and obvious one:

Because of the new songs played in 2002, who doesn't want an album in wich songs like -The blues- are supposed to be fillers (wrong word, realise that) instead of a coming single!

Well I probably speak for alot of the old timers when I say that the UYI releases kind of became a soundtrack for the events in my life since they came out. I'm waiting to hear what the sequel has in store, so to speak.

It's inevitable. You know Guns N' Roses and the Chinese Democracy album, so you're waiting for it whether you read this forum or not.

I'm waiting because the amount of pure creativity within this group of musicians is absolutely mind-boggling, and there are so many great things that will come to those of us who wait.

I think someone needs a little PATIENCE. you ovisouly like the old Guns Material and you like what you have heard of his new stuff, and you come here to look for rumors.  Sounds like you don't need a reason to keep waiting. Its ok to admit it that you are hardcore GnR. I am sure Axl will release it when he is ready or Geffen will push it out if Axl passes away. I hope it doesnt come to that.

It just seemed like a cool Idea for a new topic Smiley And yes, after not hearing anything from Axl for this long I start having some doubts... But of course I'll keep checking this board!!

Just so that when I wanna say fuck it, I can always check a topic like this!  beer

exactly!

i understand your thread though man!
this waiting sucks!
it just better be a good album though!

what happens if the cd is a flop?
what hapens if all the songs aren't what we expect? - there are just too many questions needed to be answered! when CD comes maybe we'll have those well-awaited answers!

I believe "loitering" would have been a bit more appropriate description.  hihi

Who me, wait? Hell, I'm gonna cue this line Smiley

Seriously though, I ain't waiting.  I never really have waited... maybe it has to do with the fact that my... *ahem* interest in GNR began 1.5 years ago... oh the memories of Toronto 2002... I was just totally... amazed.  With the music, the engery, the band.  It was just unbelieveble.  Before the concert, I had never heard the song "Nightrain" before, and during the subway ride home, I was screaming out the main lyrics, just lovin' it.

I am just here to post, procastinate my time, and keep up to date on the GNR news scene.  Always lookin for an inside edge Smiley  Yeah, I really like GNR gossip... err, I mean, news.  Haha.  Who is kidding who.  And yeah, this website / forum certainly keeps me entertained.

I do hope that an album will be released in the (near) future, however, I am for the most part, a doubter.  I am curious to hear what has been in the vaults... the music, the melodies, the lryics... the stories behind the songs... and all of that other good GNR stuff.
