The solo on IRS is the same one Finck is been playing live (the first solo added, we don't have it on that other demo). Didn't like it that much either.

TWAT sounds cool with the new intro and I guess thats the symphony backing them. Kinda hard to make out. Jesus, this sounds a lot better as far the chorus/verse go... I'm yet to get to the solos, I'm listening to the song as we speak ... Oh! I just creamed my pants!  Only bad thing about TWAT is they took out the sweet Buckethead solo. Not much of a solo. But still sounds damn sweet. IRS sounds a little bit slower. |

IRS has a different riff in it. Really dunno what to make out of it. Not the same ending solo. And only those 2 solos, not the 3rd one from the live version. They need to add that one IMO, it makes the sound so much better and less boring. However, this version has a lot more going on in it than the 1st demo we've all heard.
P.S.... same great Axl scream in the song!

I'm not really sure what to make of these. Both seem a bit slower, and they sound a lot less polished which makes them appear to be earlier takes. They are both labeled 1999 for what it's worth. I think our original IRS sounds a helluva lot better than this one esp. on guitars, There Was a Time however while not well mixed sounds less 'shrill' than the original leak and is worth checking out.

Sounds like theres a piano in the background of TWAT in this one. Definitely sounds like Axl was just testing out vocals in this version, but the music seems a lil more finished except the guitar solo.
