Title: The sound of the next GN'R album.
Post by: Carlos Gunner on December 16, 2022, 07:23:46 PM
You noticed how there was something missing in the sound of the "Spaghetti Incident?"

Like there were Slash, Duff, and Axl, and still, there was something missing in that album.

They took Adler out and the sound of GN'R in the Illusions was slightly different from Appetite from Destruction, Izzy left and the sound of the Spaghetti Incident was different too, regardless of this being a cover album, their "touch" was missing.

So I believe the chemistry of the band changed as elements were taken out or removed and others were added, nothing like the original, one reason I believe Chinese Democracy took so long to be released. Chinese Democracy leaks were also used to get fans used to the new sound of the band.

Chinese Democracy was a great album, but it was dark, totally contrary to what Guns N' Roses was. The contributions of the rest of the band, in this album, were really good but the album had a very different sound, and another direction, which was successful too, just not as successful as the original.

There are of course people who love the last version of GN'R more than the original, and that is probably you, and that is ok and respectful, but I made my case.

I think the next GN'R album will be missing some things we love from GN'R and there will be some other good things too, I wonder how will be the chemistry of this last version of GN'R in the studio.

What do you think?

They're not 20 year old guys any more.  Their lifestyles have changed.  And they have matured a musicians.  The door is open for change.
