wharf rat looks like an awesome choice. that will be my last stop before the show, hopefully by 6 or so.

i just noticed that my ticket says $75 face, but my receipt from ticketmaster says $77 face value. kinda strange. plus the additional charges which brought the total to about $92.

Just took a ride up there today, there are 2 parking garages that are very close to the arena, I saw that one is open until 2 am, and parking is $10 I think.  Getting back to 295 was a little confusing, dont want to make a wrong turn in Baltimore.

Haha...  You're right...  Baltimore is worse.   Sad

According to http://www.morganquitno.com/cit07pop.htm#25, Baltimore is the 12th most dangerous city in the U.S. (above Washington DC at 19th).

Anythinggoes, you'll want to take a cab to Penn Station.   nervous

I'm not worried about it getting cancelled.  But I thought of several reasons why it's not selling well.  Aside from the obvious no CD.  But 1) Baltimore isn't the best area, it's not like NY, its not like AC, or LV. 2) it's on a Monday night and 3) it's right after the MSG show, remember back to 2002 after the MSG show.  But I wouldn't be surprised if the tour really takes off after this show, if GNR can put on another amazing show.

I *know* there are plenty of rockers in Baltimore, rockers who would probably be more likely to go *if* the show was on a weekend (Mondays are always hard, especially in this area of long-ass commutes to work) and *if* GNR had a better track record.  Everybody knows about Philly in '02.  Well, Philly is not far (<2 hours' drive north) from Baltimore; I'm sure some Baltimore-area peeps had tickets to that show and are worried that the same thing will happen.  (Also, wasn't there a Baltimore show that was cancelled after the Philly incident?)  I know that when I tell random friends and acquaintances that I've got a ticket to the Baltimore show, they almost always say, "I hope Axl shows up!"  Then when I assure them that he will, they still give me skeptical looks.  Bastards.  LOL.

There was supposed to be a show in DC in 2002, but it was canned.

I'm new to posting here, but I've been checking out the site for 5 or 6 years now.  I'm looking forward to meeting some of you at the Wharf Rat.  Anyone staying at the Days Inn across from the venue?  I'm hoping to meet up with some people to party with after the show as well.  I figure by the time it's over the bars will be closed but me and the guys I'm heading down with will still be going strong.  Also, where are some of you from?  I'm coming down from Lancaster, PA.

Hey guys...

I am or was going to the show here, but a siutation has come up.  I have 2 tickets @ 49.50 a piece in Section 206 if anyone needs extra tickets.  Face value no service fees and I'll send them overnight at my expense.  Let me know.  Thanks.

i was worried before. but my level of concern has just increased significantly. i'm guessing low ticket sales was the reason for the cancelation in maine.

in fact, i'd be willing to bet this show get cancelled.

Wow.  I really wasn't worried at all, but now it definitely has me thinking, even if they comeback to play the MSG show. I don't want to drive to Baltimore then hve them not show up.  Now we don't know why it was cancelled tonight, but if Axl was sick then that could be why and legitimate, but if it was poor ticket sales ... uh oh Shocked

How well are tickets selling? I've got great seats, had great seats to the canceled 2002 show also. After the Portland cancelation, I'm getting worried!

When I called about 2 weeks and ordered my ticket I asked the lady, how's it selling and she said there are still alot of seats left.  I then asked if she can tell me if less then 50% of the arena is sold, she said she couldnt give out then info.
