His favorite song right now is Touch Too Much, that's great

I think that's a pretty underrated ACDC song

A normal person doesn't read them so it's very hard to see Axl reading them.

There's a browser extension that changes all the comments to cat pictures. Not hard to see why someone wanted to create that.

I think there's a good chance the AC/DC fans will get to see a setlist quite different than what they're used to. That must be something to look forward to, right?

Here's the last show AC/DC did, back in February :

Quote
Rock or Bust
Shoot to Thrill
Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be
Back in Black
Got Some Rock & Roll Thunder
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Thunderstruck
High Voltage
Rock 'n' Roll Train
Hells Bells
Given the Dog a Bone
Sin City
You Shook Me All Night Long
Shot Down in Flames
Have a Drink on Me
T.N.T.
Whole Lotta Rosie
Let There Be Rock

Encore:

Highway to Hell
For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)

Have to think the setlist will be largely the same.

The setlist is just fine. But I would like to hear "Dogs of War" instead of "Got Some Rock & Roll Thunder"

Do wonder if 'Riff Raff' will work its way in there.

Honestly, the song I really want to hear is 'Thunderstruck'.  Don't know why.

I am definitely going to need a decent audio bootleg of one of these shows.

Wouldn't surprise me if they tailor the setlist to Axl's style & taste.. I'd wager large amounts of money we're not gonna hear AC/DC do Shackler's though. Tongue

GNR have covered AC/DC for years. How about some payback time now peace

Shackler's would be just a perfect fit.

Two things:

1) Axl is working and playing a lot better with annoying camera owners than he once did.

2) Dude is looking downright skinny.

Very true. He's simply getting older and more experienced. Been there and done that a million times, no need to get agitated. It only lasts for a little while and it has to be done. Otherwise you couldn't be a real rock star.

I always thought that Guns should have done a "Highway to Hell" cover. This is my favorite AC/DC tune. Granted, you had Slash cover it with Sam Kinison back in the day. However, Sam Kinison is not Axl. I can't wait to hear Axl sing this!

I'm interested in taping Werchter.  It was just announced on the news today though that they'll have metal detectors at every major festival in Belgium this summer.  Not sure what to think of that ...

The two of you need to take a pill.  We're posting on a GNR fansite.  We don't have any control over what the AC/DC setlist will be like but there's absolutely nothing wrong with GNR fans voicing their opinions on a GNR fan forum.

It would be a different story if we were spamming the AC/DC forum with our daydream setlists but doing it here is well within the scope of what GNR fan sites are about especially when we're inbetween GNR shows and Axl is performing with AC/DC.

Great that Axl commented on Prince.

It just struck me... no one in those videos asked Axl how it was being back on stage with Slash.

Obviously they seemed to have a good time on stage, but it would be cool to hear what the both of them have to say about it.

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the video and I even talked to a friend about it.
But I guess these TMZ guys can only remember the latest gossip about the celebrity they are talking to. They don't really know know who they are/ can think of any good questions.

Interesting... That was not the time or place to ask about Slash. For the time being Axl is standing on two chairs (or would be if he had to functional legs) and he has every right to do so.

In sports, especially in soccer (football), there is plenty of fan trouble if someone defects to that other team. I don't see the problem here for as long as Axl returns home in good health beer

There will be a better time for those questions.

We're not talking in-depth interviews here. The people with cameras in the videos are hardly journalists. I don't think that's what went through their heads as Axl walked through the airport ? "there will be a better time to ask Axl about Slash".

If they had asked about it, I wouldn't expect anything more than a "it was great" response from Axl anyways.

I was just surprised none of them asked about reuniting with Slash, it's sort of a big deal. I guess it sort of drowned in the middle of the AC/DC story.

If they had asked about it, I wouldn't expect anything more than a "it was great" response from Axl anyways.

I was just surprised none of them asked about reuniting with Slash, it's sort of a big deal. I guess it sort of drowned in the middle of the AC/DC story.

Exactly, and that's why it wasn't asked and I was happy to not hear any questions about Slash. This is this story now.

Big things happening and we need to take this one step at a time.

Think how annoying that must be?

Don't get me wrong.  Life is a trade off and the life of a celeb is WORLDS more good than bad.

But there are some shitty aspects of that life.  This is one of them, being followed like this.

I think they simply forgot to ask about it, or didn't think about it.

Had they asked and Axl had given a short answer, in the future Axl wouldn't have gone "Look, I gave an interview about Slash a while back, while walking through LAX, I have nothing more to say on the subject". The people in these videos aren't journalists, and he isn't giving "interviews".

It wouldn't impact any chances of a real interview on the subject in the future.

This AC/DC stuff will be really fun and entertaining, but since GNR is big news it caught my attention that they asked about AC/DC and not the big GNR question. I was not surprised, because as I said most times these paparazzis have no idea what they're even saying/asking the celebrity. And I would never expect a full in depth answer from Axl, it's just interesting that they not even bothered to ask.

And no, they're never worried about place and time, they're just clueless.

So I do hope in the future we'll hear from the band in a proper manner.

Think that's a longshot.

Maybe a bug wrap up piece 2 months after the tour is over.

So Team Brazil are with him seeing as they need to help him out on a personal basis? I only caught a glimpse of who may be Beta in one of the videos.

He seems to like the Bon Scott era same as me so I'd love to hear some of the songs from Bon's time in the band. Somehow I can't see Axl dressing as a schoolgirl like Bon did, hilarious with his pigtails & uniform.  rofl

I can work with that.
Eventualy we'll get something. Slash and Duff can't avoid the press forever, only Axl can. Hahah

Cast comes off in a few weeks eh? Good news! The throne era of gnr will always hold a special place in my heart though. Wonder if he will actually sound different once he's standing again, as some are guessing? I think his voice will still be about the same.

Can't wait to see these acd shows!

Jesus... are we now transitioning into Bon Scott and Cliff Williams aren't original members discussions now?? Can we let that story line rest with Ole Beich, Rob Gardner, and Tracii Guns.

I was thinking the same thing. Now it seems Dave Evans is to AC/DC  what Tracii Guns is to GN'R  hihi

Jesus, go watch GnR live if you want to hear their songs. I hope they don't play one damn cover let alone a Guns song. I want to hear Axl since ACDC.

Same.

Apparently there's plenty wrong with voicing opinions of yours telling someone to take a pill. There's two sides of an argument and some of us don't want to hear GnR covers. I hope we can agree to disagree.

In Belgium/Werchter-some narrow minded people - returned their ticket to ticketmaster.Only a small percentage of the original ac/dc crowd (less then 10 %) and these tickets are being re-sold. you can check the acdc website to buy tickets.
