Well, you got the point.

Ask the questions and if they're good and haven't been answered a gazillion times, they might get answered by Gilby Clarke.

Post your questions until Wednesday, May 10th.

Axl / GNR related questions:

- Did Axl record his vocals to Dead Flowers after you were not involved in GNR anymore?

- Did you feel uncomfortable at all at first when you saw Axl at the cat club in year 2000?

- What do you think of Guns N' Roses now? Do you still talk to any your former band mates?

Non Axl / GNR related questions:

- What happened with Col. Parker?? Why Did you only release one album?

- When are you gonna release another solo album?

- Are you writing new music now? music for movies?

Do you have any plans to release another album?

As far as Supernova goes, are you going to remain the lone guitarist?

Will you be going to the States anytime soon?

thanks

A few questions off the top of my head

- Do you get tired of being asked GNR related questions or do you think that without that experience you wouldnt have the freedom you have today?
- Were you hesitant about the whole publicity side of the Rockstar 2/ Supernova thing?
- In 1993, did you expect to be making a new GNR record with the band as it was at the time?
- Do you prefer playing with a frontman or fronting your solo band?
- You've worked on a variety of projects, how do you decide on what you want to be a part of?

- What music are you into for the moment?

- How's it going with your new record?

- What's your favourite Gilby album?

- Will Supernova tour in europe?

- What Guns N' Roses song was your favourite to play under the Use Your Illusion tour?

Do you plan to jam with contestants on the new "Rock Star" show, and will any G N' R songs be played?

Do you ever invision yourself in GNR again, or is it something you have left go of?

1.     What did you think about when you heard you were replacing Izzy in Guns n Roses ? Was there a pressure there and how so ?

2.    I heard on MTV2 that November Rain orginally clocked in over 20 minutes. Were you there when Rose was asked to trim it down and is it true ?

3.    In your experince with Guns n Roses , do you believe there is enough un-used material to do a Box Set and if so...what would you suggest be on a Box Set as a member of the group those years.

In todays market where so many new bands are shoved down our throats for a few months and then never heard from again, what bands does Gilby think have the ability to still be a factor in the industry in 10 years or so?

Please don't start talking to eachother.

I don't wanna have to read through endless discussions to read the questions cause there won't be much time...

I understand that some questions have already been answered or they are too obvious, but let us judge that.

I'll leave this answer cause it might help the person who asked to go and see Gilby live.

From now on all other posts that do not contain questions will be deleted.

1. Does Guns N Roses cover of Hanoi Rocks 'Rock N Roll Ciggarettes' exsist, the song that was supposed to go on the Spaghetti Incident but didnt, and if so do you have a copy?

1. Did Axl appear on your version of Dead Flowers BEFORE or AFTER you departed GNR?

2. What tracks, to the best of your knowledge, does your Guitar playing appear in on the Guns N Roses album Live Era 86-93? The CD itself doesnt specify exactly when the tracks were recorded.

3. Was the song 'Melting My Cold Heart' written by you for anyone in particular?

4. How did you get offered the touring job with Slash's Snakepit?

5. How did it come about that you departed from Guns N Roses, I have heard that you knew you were out of the band 'when the cheques stopped coming in the mail' but what exactly happened, did Axl or Slash call and personally tell you Huge was replacing you?

6. Did you hear anything around 1995 from either Slash, Matt or Duff pretaining to a new Guns N Roses album they were recording which was eventually never released?

1) Could you discuss your feelings the day of December 5th, 1991 which that night was your first ever performance with Guns N' Roses?

2) How was it touring with opening act Body Count?  Were you offended by their song Cop Killer?

3) Are you annoyed that your solo shows are now promoted as 'ex- GNR guitarist' Gilby Clarke?

How many hours a day (Week) did you spend playing guitar?

What helped you the most to become the guitarist you are today aside from practice?
Can you read actual notation or are you one of those self taught TAB-ish guys?
Whats with the SG truss rod cover you used on one of your les pauls?
Do you still have that beautiful red les paul standard Slash gave you?
What is your current rig?
Last question: Any tips on singing and playing at the same time? Did you learn how to or did you wak up one day and jsut do it.
thanks

Hi guys! Many of the answers have been replied on other Gilby interviews, let's make some fresh questions this time around.

 1. ?Whats the status on your planed next album, it's more guest appearence oriented or there's a cooperative presence of your current touring band and mates?

2. ? Do you hace offers to produce bigger bands now that you are getting worlwide attencion with SuperNova?

3. ? Is this your first experience working with a "supergroup", or the rumors of a band with you, Chris Robinson, Dean n' Robert DeLeo and Steve Gorman were false?

4. ?Any plans to rerlease your Dvd with extra features and a longer songlist than the one your selling on tour?

5. ?Why don't you play more songs from your long catalog (solo albums, candy, Kills for Thrills, Col. Parker) instead of a similar setlist in your shows over the years? ?Are you unsattisfied with that work or you just don't care to play them in shows?

7 ?What do you think of Muddy Dutton as a musician? (for me it's one of the most underrated rock player of the 90's)

8 ?Any plans to tour Southamerica again anytime soon? (Chile this time for God's sake!)

Thanks to everyone for reading!

Hi Gilby

1) Do you have any plans to play in Poland soon?

2) What you think now about your previous band's Kills for Thrills and Candy?

3) How much material do you record on your next solo?

4) Why you decided join Supernova?

5) What you plan record with Supernova:rock, metal,or something else?

6)Which bands  you like now, except your band? What music you hear now.

6) That style will have  you next solo:more rocking or something else?

Thanks for answers.Greetings from Poland.

A hoy hoy Gilby,

Here's few questions for you,

1) Did you ever consider forming a band with Tim Karr? I just love the work you did with him.

2) Is there any truth to the lyrics from Skin n' Bones? In particular,? "I had a little sister who could drink up a storm, If the liquor didn't kill her she'd be twenty-one"?

3) Is your song " The Worst", the worst song you ever heard.? Roll Eyes

4) Will you ever do a Solo Canadian tour? Perhaps after the SuperNova tour and album.? I would love to see you play at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.

5) If you were to run into Tracci Guns at this moment, you would you shake his hand or smack him in the mouth? Roll Eyes

Thanks Gilby, keep rockin ,

Yep, unfortunately you were.

We picked a few (actually a lot of) questions and Gilby answered them ALL...

I still have the band here, they're leaving today, and Doug Doppler is leaving tomorrow, so I'll probably have the interview ready next weekend.

BTW, you'll love it...  Wink
