Anyone knows or heard what Axl was singing in the slow part, after the first chorus? It's pretty hard to hear anything, but I can hear some singing in Las Vegas bootleg. Anyone can help me?

Yes, he sings. I was reading this review http://qfg.info/misc/GNR123101.doc and the guy said:

Silkworms was heavy.  Axl looked like he was ready to kill someone when he sang this song.  I like it now much more than initially.  It has a lot of aggression in it but it also has a slow part.  I couldn?t hear what Axl was singing softly however.  He seemed to get some of the venom back in his voice.

I heard this part very, very loud and could notice something... something like "don't do this to me..." and then something else I couldn't figure. I already made a mp3 with this part and cleaned a bit, but it's still hard to listen... I can send this thing, anyway, and you can judge for yourself. Just PM me.

He is not singing, and if he was moving his lips he was probably talking to the tech guy.

Dude, I can hear something, it's not like I saw Axl moving his lips and thought he was singing. I quoted the guy just to put another person who heard this part. And he said I couldn?t hear what Axl was singing softly however. How could he knew Axl was singin softly if he didn't heard anything? He wasn't talking, he was singing...
I just notice that the Rio has the same part, but it's even harder to hear.

Actually, I just saw the Rio DVD again.. It's not Axl, someone else is singin... maybe Dizzy, maybe Pittman, maybe it's a sample? I dunno...  But I know there's someone singing there.  :-\

The hob version is the best, and you can hear a lot.

Axls voice has much more "punch" and punk vibe to it than the drawn out rio version. You can also hear the effect better in the hOB version. Cant wait to hear the studio cut. The songs kicks major ass.

Well if they change the lyrics (entirely) it could be a good song.....
