Title: "Fall To Pieces" single.
Post by: BurningHills on September 18, 2004, 05:59:38 PM
Amazon.com lists two different versions.

One is the "Fall To Pieces" EP that will be released on November 2. Its a $20 import.  :o It doesn't have a tracklisting yet though. There's probably about 5 songs on it..at least for the price tag, there had better be!

The other is listed as "Fall To Pieces Pt. 2". It only has "Money" as a b-side. Apparently, it came out on Sept. 2.

On a side note, I'm curious:

Is there a reason why most bands release three different versions of singles? I've noticed this in the U.K. It kinda pisses me off, especially since I'm a fucking completist.

I think the two versions has to do with the charts.

You can't put too many songs on a single in order for it to be eligible for the charts.

Yeah, I figured something to that effect.

But, come on, save the b-sides for the next cd!

For example...I love The Darkness and all. But, they have more b-sides out than they have actual LP songs! They should have just saved all of the b-sides to make a kickass second CD!  : ok:

Same w/The Wildhearts. They're another band that I love, but Ginger has a thing for b-sides! It makes me want to pull my hair out! I may have to make a phone call to good old Santa Claus to hook me up!
