AFD was recorded in 1999-2012. When it gets finished, Axl hunts down Slash,Izzy,Duff, and Steven. They hop in a time machine and release it in 1987. Stop waiting for Chinese Democracy. It was released as AFD back in 1987. :D

I read that in was between summer to late 1986.  Geffen didn't release it until Summer 1987 but I believe it was recorded awhile before that.

Hi! In first place sorry for the title.
I used to know when was recorded but i forget it and i can't remember where i found this information.
If i want to know the months is because Slash has said in interviews he got his Les Paul copies when recording AFD and you can see he's using it in 86 bootlegs

That's a possibility.  Especially with the "Bitch Slap Rappin" line in AFD's CD sleeve.

If so I believe it was re-recorded for UYI.  The sound quality difference between UYI and AFD is too obvious for it not to have been.

It's possible but I've never seen any mentions of that or heard any bootlegs of it.

If there's one, I'll update the list. :)

Well, if my memory serves me right it was written, but not recorded around AFD, it's Matt playing drums on that not Steven , so it's impossible to be a version recorded in 87 but released in 91 anyway... Same goes for Back of Bitch ,and Dont cry to name other examples..
