Seymour) and it was during the Oklahoma City bombings and he was just blown away at how people could care about what was going on (in court) when something so horrible had just happened.

Interesting, I'll have to go back and listen to those tunes now to see if I get a new perspective on them lyrically. As much as I love getting my own meaning out of songs, I would love to know the meaning/inspiration behind all the new tunes. I just figure over 15+ years Axl has gone through A LOT. That's an unconfirmed rumor that's been going around for years. I believe it started at one of the Vegas shows where Oklahoma was on the setlist, and instead of playing that, the band played Riyadh in its place. |
