who here thinks mods go by a different set of rules? then say us everyday posters, and are you cool with that?, i mean we all just wanna chat about gnr do we not?, does it piss you off how mods choose who they bann? or warn, because lets be real .....everyone breaks the rules, theres so many it's like the bible, give me a week and i could make a list of rules that mods break!,  !

I think its true some mods feel they are entilted to get away with stuff we can't and sometime's powertrip....

But overall, I think they do a fucking great job here.  :yes:

yeah i'm not saying all mods do it, but i think there needs to be a crackdown, weed out the dead wood!

To understand the rules, or at least their enforcement, you have to understand why they are there. Which you, of course, do not. Which is why members who have been here for years can get away with it (you only notice that the moderators do because of the green, like your eyes, stars); though in essence it isn't 'getting away' with anything. The real point is not preservation of the rules, but preservation of our board. Do you get it? Do ye ken?,

clearly not!, and so this will continue. Because you like the rigid. Of course they do. It's called perks of the job :hihi: It's just like everthing else in life. Cops getting away with speeding while off duty, people in the health care industry can pull strings to get through faster, People in retail get disscounts, Mods can dictate what goes on on the forums.? That's life. Personally I think these? guys run a? really great forum. It's a hard job and they do a great job. Now just so I'm not coming off as an total ass kisser I'll admit I feel they(some not all) tend to deal with things with an overabundance of? arrogance at times and at times  it seems it's done? only for their own ammusement and to antagonize people. Though like I said it's a tough job so I'm sure their level of pateince is at a minimum. There are alot of jerkoffs on these types of sites so....Maybe I'm considerd one of them. I don't know.

This is the best run board on the Internet with this many users, and whatever rules they do go by, it works, for those of us who aren't looking for chatroom style discussions.  If you want that, go somewhere else.   : ok:

You've got to love it or shove it. This board is head and shoulders above the others because rumors rarely get off the ground, and assholes aren't given the time of day. I don't agree with every decision the mod's make, particularly where freedom of speech is concerned (deleting posts that are people expressing their feelings about the band - not libellous, false, lying, abusive etc.).

But then again, this isn't my board. I'm a guest here, and when you're a guest you've got to play it by the house rules, good or bad.

If it wasnt for jarmo you wouldnt even have this guns n roses fan site. I remember when i got into gnr and came looking for them on the internet and there homepage hadnt been updated in ages, i was a noob, i didnt know slash n co had left non of that. So i come onto this site, they have detailed history on the band, then i sign up to forums, we get bootlegs of all types all the time, we find out all the latest news on gnr all the time. We dont have to pay, its all free. And all you fuckers can do is come question how they run the place, id like to see you set up a forum, get as many members as this site has and try to run it at least a quarter as good as this site is run.

I am pretty sure that is what it means but unfortunately they all come back at some point.  I guess he is used to the forum where everyone is allowed to act like toddlers (not naming names!) but I know where he is a seasoned member!  :hihi:

I dont agree with what some of the mods do, but you have to take the good with the bad. Ive kept up with what was happening with GNR in the leanest years on this site when no one else I knew gave a shit about that band. Like it or not its a dysfunctional support system here!
