Title: Did anyone else see the article about Gilby's daughter in Teen Vogue?
Post by: gnrgirl1989 on November 27, 2006, 06:50:56 PM
In the Last Look/ A Room Of My Own section of the december/january 2007 issue of teen vogue, it reads:
"It might be hard to book time in the home recording studio when your father is a former Guns N' Roses guitarist and now member of Rock Star Supernova. But seventh grader Frankie Clarke (daughter of Gilby Clarke and Frankie B. jeans owner Daniella Clarke) has an all-access pass to rehearse with her band, Sweet Gone Sour. The dark wine-colored walls and framed pyschedelic Beatles posters inspire a rock 'n' roll attitude. Since the room is stocked with six strings and a drum kit, the only thing the girls need to bring are snacks. "We take a lot of candy breaks," say Frankie. "But we have to remember to wash our hands. My dad gets annoyed if the instruments are sticky." -Alison Griffin

And then it has a picture. Kinda random but it just goes to show that there are Guns N' Roses mentions everywhere.

The "what?" you hear after the last song in pawnshop guitars is Gilby finding out his wife was pregnant with Frankie-time flies, and it must be neat for her to tell her friends that story-it must be funny to hear Gilby yell at her about the stick instruments-that's funny and cute

I think it's cute that 2 of her favorite bands are Kiss and T-Rex, seems to be a little father influence there don't you think?
