Title: A dvd would help get sceptics familiar with new band.
Post by: JeffK on January 17, 2007, 06:23:27 PM
I would LOVE to have a copy of a dvd from this tour. It was an amazing show!! I also think it would be a great way to get more people familiar with the new lineup. There are tons of people who won't go to a gnr concert because it's not the original band therefor not really gnr and they don't know who these new guys are. They think that there's no way they can be as good as Slash and the boys so they don't bother going. I must admit, I used to be one of those people. A dvd of this tour would allow these people to see how good the new band is and get familiar with them. I really hope they make one!!

Somehow , I think an album of new material might help too.

i think its unlikely.  they will probably wait till the next tour when there are more CD songs they can play and bigger crowds to release a live DVD.

If people are sceptical of the new band, why would they buy a DVD of the new band?

weren't they filming a bunch of 2006 for a possible dvd to come out after the album?

Like Chief said, a DVD to come out after the album. I'd love to see a DVD of the new band, but it's only going to come out after the album.

Interest I think has maximized at this point with what's been done so far. Now it's time for the music to do the talking.
