(That same thing goes for Black Sabbath and Metallica) As for Rocket Queen being a rip-off of "The Rover" by Led Zeppelin... It's most likely random. I think Zepplin quite happily admit that a lot of their ideas came from other sources. Like GN'R they had a knack of blending styles and yet having their own unique sound.
