Title: Text / logo or font required (please) Post by: andy1981 on February 03, 2008, 02:34:15 PM Hi guys, bit of a strange request this one.
I've just bought a new custom motorcycle project and its going to get a custom paintjob, when I save up enough cash  Anyhow, the G n' F n' Roses logo (know what I'm on about?) can somebody point me to the font for this? What I'd like to do is have that kinda font spelling out, Sweet Child O Mine! see what it looks like and if its good, have it put on the gas tank, maybe it'll look rubbish, don't know till I see it I'm not very computer profficiant, so please don't get too technical on my ass or if sombody is feeling Arty ;D could ya have a wee play? Thanks Title: Re: Text / logo or font required (please) Post by: pothead on February 03, 2008, 05:00:44 PM i'd like to see the finished result of this if it turns out for you dude. sounds like one HELL of a bike

for those of you into motorcycles its a 1995 Harley Sportster, 883. Custom hardtailled frame, custom front end, aftermarket oil tank, Gas tank and a few other bits. It hasn't ran in 4 years but basically it needs, the wireing done, new battery, a few parts modified to fit properly and a paint job (its in bare metal at the moment) My mind was working overtime last night and my idea is to kinda have a theme towards her, and what better theme than GnR? I'm going for a powdercoated black frame with chrome polished engine parts, front end and wheels (i know its all been done before) but with some small touches for a GnR theme, mainly on the tinware. Also my idea of haveing the Appetite cross or something iconic stitched or inbossed into the seat pan Title: Re: Text / logo or font required (please) Post by: ACE_is_BACK on February 04, 2008, 03:37:44 PM I'ts slash's handwriting. There is no font to match it. You just have to get an artistic person that can easily write what you want in that style.
