Title: (request) Axl rant about the internet from Rock in Rio
Post by: andy1981 on February 11, 2008, 05:28:17 AM
Hi freinds, can anyone direct me to a youtube link of the rant Axl had at Rock in Rio, about the internet, (or at the very least it written out) went something like the internet is like a big garbage can.....

A freind of mine is having problems with some motherfuckers on the internet and its really getting him down. Think maybe this would just help him along, hes not a GnR fan but a singer/songwriter and he would really dig what it means

Thanks

"I used to go on the internet. But the internet seems to be the big garbage can. So I don't read the things that they say on the internet any more. And that goes for your comments too, Renato. And Xozy. And anyone else that likes to think that they know what's going on but have no idea."

naah not that i know of, but in belgium (i think) 2002 before mr brownstone and axl introduced it as "and here's one for jarmo.. or how that's prounounced" something along those lines at least

He said "Here Today, Gone To Belgium for Jarmo".

He probably thought Jarmo's from Belgium but he's not (Finland right?). I was at that show, don't think too many people knew what Axl was talkin' about since it wasn't a GN'R crowd (Pukkelpop festival).
It wasn't the best show either, but it was still great fun!
