Title: Chuck Klosterman
Post by: irishtwilight on March 29, 2008, 06:54:06 PM
Why is a recent interview of Chuck Klosterman talking about Chinese Democracy put in the dead horse section? This a major well known respected rock music writer and what he talks about in the interview is what tons of GNR fans are talking about right now. In the music world his opinion is much more respected than say someone like Sebastin Bach, so the fact that he is talking postive about the album is a very good thing.  The fact that this was put in the dead horse section makes no sense and shows a lack of knowledge about Klosterman and how well respected he is. There's nothing dead horse about him!!

How could it *not* turn into a reunion piece when Klosterman himself ends on a "I think a reunion will happen" note?  In spite of Klosterman's reputation and the fact that the interview is recent, it probably should have started in Dead Horse.  Unfortunate, but that's how it goes around here....too many posters living in the past.

Afterthought:  when a new interview or piece like this comes out, can it be put in the main section since it's current but locked so it doesn't turn into a reunion thread?

well judging from the posts in the thread it's not the posters that is living in the past.
not many posters on this board.

and basically I can't see any music writer, famous or not,  with a good ear for rock dissing cd. unless they want to make an ass of themselves.
