we all hope that the focus is on getting the music out. However, once it "gets out" the band would be needed to do interviews and promo, if dizzy isn't around, then maybe an October release is unrealistic.

It all depends how substantial Dizzys tour is though... :-\

this thread doesn't really have anything to do with CD.    It has to do with Dizzy playing shows this fall.

When was the last time GNR did stuff when Dizzy was on tour?

They're not doing anything! It won't be a tour this year and the album is still up for grabs for a late 2008 release or early 2009 release IMO. If they even want to get the ball rolling lacking a main song writer and touring guitarist in the first place.

Frankly.... who gives a flying fuck about Hookers N' Blow.... its GN'R that drives every one to read/participate in these forums.

I haven't heard their stuff... it may be good or whatever... but to me this just means less GN'R activity... which is what I care about.

Just saying... HTGTH is about GN'R... ESPECIALLY... the GUNS N ROSES forum part of it.

There should be a division between the band and its members. If you want to discuss a side-project cool... but that side -project has zero to do with GN'R... other than the fact it just demostrates lack of GN'R action.

yea i posted this hoping that maybe someone with some connections or knows a place that would like to book HnB might be able to help the boys out.

its totally guns n roses related, Dizzy's been in the band for 18 years and they play a lot of the classic songs and even some of the more obscure stuff we normally wouldn't get to see at a GnR show.     I haven't seen them yet but I hope they make it to Vegas one of these days and i think any GnR fan would enjoy the shows.    it has nothing to do with CD or the status of the band.
