I dont think its something easy to do. We'll may see a mobile version of the smf board php-based (dont know if there is one and if it will be used here), but I dont know if it would really works well enough.

I can use the board quite well here. In fact, Im using the iPhone right now and its the way I visit the board more often now.

You'll get used to it. Just try to zoom in the threads and things before you want to click.

I'm actually getting into developing iPhone apps right now. First you need to become an apple developer (99 dollars a year) and then you get the software developers kit and all the info you need to make great applications.
Next sunday I'll have my first meeting about what app we should make..
If that goes well I'd love to make a guns n' roses app. I probably will, depending on how much time it takes and how much free time I have.
I'm making something cool (gnr related) right now too, I'll show you guys when it's finished in a month or so..

That would be awesome! Thanks for sharing it with us (I mean, the news, you may ask for some budget in the App Store, haha). :)

Ok so this little "something cool" thing I was talking about a few posts above is finally finished. It's a website with Guns N' Roses tour statistics. I've been working on this a bit longer than expected but I think it turned out quite nicely..

>> http://www.gunsnroses-livestats.com (http://www.gunsnroses-livestats.com)

I especially like the song pages where you can see how many times a certain song was played (like chinese democracy for instance: http://www.gunsnroses-livestats.com/song.php?song=1) and their album page (like chinese democracy ;) http://www.gunsnroses-livestats.com/album.php?album=6). I also like the smart statistics (try for yourself -> http://www.gunsnroses-livestats.com/log-in.php?url=smart-statistics.php). You can also view a world map with all the places guns n' roses have been by clicking "view map full screen" on a venue page (you get there by clicking browse venues -> *choose a venue*).

If you want to use the search function, rate or review gigs, add gigs to you attending list or just be fucking cool (;)) you'll need to register :p

Anyway.. now that this thing is finished (I'm still very open for feedback and changes though).. I'm going to continue with the iPhone app :)
So.. what's going to be in it? If you guys make up the contents I will develop the thing :) How's that? :)

one feature I'd love to see on a htgth app, is a 'great coffee' finder, so whereever you are, you'll find a good cup :P !
