I posted in the Ex-gunners section where it belongs and I know damn well there was nothing inflammatory in it.  It was just a review of his book!

nah but in all seriousness, i am sure it was just deleted as an honest mistake.

How exactly does a mod delete a post as an honest mistake?  They would have to click on the button and then confirm it by clicking on the box that pops up.

Still waiting, mods.  Everyone else around here seems to be acceptant of your constant random deletion of inoffensive threads.  I'm not intimidated of being the black sheep who stands up and demands an answer.

I couldn't say whether the person who deleted it read as far as when you say that you felt Steven said more good than bad about Axl.

Does it really matter why it was deleted? Posts sometimes get deleted for whatever reason, it is what it is. The majority of people have learned to live with it...

What anti-Axl sentiment?  I can't even remember posting anything to that effect.  The most I believe I said detailed the struggle between Steven and Axl in terms of royalties, and things like that, which was an accurate description of WHAT WAS SAID IN THE BOOK.


Well, if that's true, then it makes a large statement about the people entrusted to run this board.  If you delete a post despite the fact that you barely read it, you're drunk with power and have no respect for all of the people who contribute to the boards.

The mods do not make this board worth reading.  The POSTERS do.  The mods need to stop trying to play GOD and engage in a senseless, fanatical "protect Axl's ass" game all the time.  Worthwhile threads (like mine) get deleted due to a bunch of wannabe Axl online bodyguards, which Axl himself would likely find laughable.

I'm locking this ridiculous crap.  If whoever removed the thread wants to provide an explanation, that's fine. Either way, I'm not going to waste a Wednesday evening watching this hatefest.
