Does anyone know if they make a full sized key board for this thing?

By adding a full-size keyboard, wouldn't it be better just to get a laptop that can do much more and costs much less?

It's a toy for people who earn too much money.

Laptops are far more value for money, as previously mentioned.

It can be pretty handy for those who don't wanna carry a laptop with them, but also would like a bigger screen than what a smart phone offers....

Calling it a toy because it doesn't seem to work for you is a bit silly.

It's just a term in the UK. Alot of people call gadgets, toys, or executive toys.

It's not meant to demean the item, it just means it is a play thing rather than a work thing. I have an Ipad 1 and use it when I travel sometimes to watch movies etc.

I love my iphone, but really dont have any interest at all in an ipad.  Lack of Flash Player and the fact that it's much easier to type on a keyboard than a touch screen still lean me towards a laptop.  That Transformer Prime thing looks kinda cool though.

I think it has a lot to do with if you're into "gadgets" or not.  The iPad is nice for when you're on vacation or don't want to be on your laptop at home etc.

But at some point all these gadgets become somewhat redundant.

If you want to get online, read a book, listen to music, watch a movie, take a photo, check your e-mail -- do you go to your laptop, iPad, Kindle, iPod or just your phone. :hihi:

I have an iPhone 4 and a Macbook Pro, so i didn't really see the need of buying an IPad... it's quite good though

I picked up one of these and have used it quite alot since purchase and is better than my ipad, which is an early version

I will be getting the new Ipad for my other half, and for someone else for Xmas, so I'll check out then what improvements have occurred

Any one got an iPad 3? Is it that much better?

I would say that right now the only reason it's worth spending money on an IPad 2 is the no need to have an antivirus on it and probably the number of apps that you can buy with it. Other than that there's cheaper and better options then the IPad...

Same with the Iphone.. i have an Iphone 4S and i wish i had bought a Samsung Galaxy... camera is 10 times better... and i work for Apple Customer Care..so  you can imagine...

I do have to say though that the congrats have to go all the way to Apple, cause Apple were the ones responsible for a totally new era of gadgets... the other brands just imitated Apple products and software...and eventually some of them were able to improve it with their own thing.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Galaxy S2, I got them both and as far as camera goes the iPhone has the edge there. Just need to learn how to utilize all the things the iPhone camera offers.
