Title: I met Axl Rose (with pictures) ! Post by: inkblot66 on March 04, 2012, 04:40:41 PM So I had the honor to meet Axl after the Fillmore show in Detroit.
He was very gracious and signed my copy of "Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide". He was in no rush and was even concerned with what color marker to use on the record so it turned out as sharp as possible. As a vintage hat wearer and collector, I love the majority of hats Axl wears on stage. I don't think I've seen him wear this one though yet (on stage) - it is absolutely magnificent. Winter in Detroit at 4:15 AM. And the design...anyone who's in Rock N' Roll/Metal should no there is no set standards when it comes to clothing accessories. Also, I loved that he apologized for the cancellation at philly a few years back. I think it shows something most of us already knew, that Axl's not the monster that the press sometimes tries to make him out to be.
