They are so much better live than what comes across on record, especially Myles.

Yeah, You're a Lie didn't do much for me until I heard a live version.
I appreciate it more now. I liked Back from Cali from the start, though.

I think Slash and Myles are one of the best live pure rock n' roll acts going today. For my money, probably THE best.
I thought VR were great when I saw them live, but Slash seemed to take it to a new level when I caught him on the solo tour.

Myles is no Scott, and VR was obviously stacked w/talent, but this outfit just comes across a bit more hungry at least in the early goings.
Doesn't hurt that they can pull from GN'R, VR, Snakepit and solo..

Hope they hit Boston soon.

I don't think he's remarkable either way. There is just a lack of stage presence there IMO. Slash is great on You're a Lie though (just watch his fingers).

Can't really say the new song did anything for me.

its a pretty good song. Classic Slash solo but as seems to be the case a lot of times the 1st chosen single is not indictive of the rest of the album. Judging from the samples there are a lot of songs I'd put ahead of You're a Lie
