I don't know the price, but didn't you get a confirmation when you made the purchase with the price on it?

Hi Jarmo

Yes, but now they're onsale for half the price? Seems a bit off considering I got them in the fan club presale.

Thanks

M

There doesn't seem to be any left so I can't check. But it says:

Gold Circle (With Early Entry) Package
Package includes:

- Standing Ticket in Golden Circle to see GN’R live (ticket face value: £150)
- Early Entry Pass: access to the venue before standard Golden Circle ticket holders.
- Limited edition GN'R VIP gift pack
- Souvenir GN’R tour laminate & lanyard
- VIP commemorative ticket
- Designated check-in with our on-site event staff

So it seems the ticket alone is worth £150.

I checked the price for Golden Circle early entry for Stockholm to compare, and that one is £245 per package. In Vienna and Munich, it's around £310....

Looks like Jarmo explained it, but stuff like that happens a lot. For example if you bought pre-sale tickets to the July 20th show last year in Foxboro you would have paid full price, but as the 2nd of the two nights there approached they started selling 4 for $100 packages in seating areas that people paid $154 for in the pre-sale.

That's not really the practice in the UK. Face value prices and discounts rarely, if ever, kick in- and if they do they crop as promotions for discount websites, rather than official ticket vendors.

The face value of those Golden Circle tickets hasn't changed at all in London. They won't either- the price remains the same, whether you buy the moment they go on sale, or the day before the gig.

It sounds to me like you may have purchased early entry and/or VIP tickets, perhaps without realising it? Don't forget that early/entry VIP include a Golden Circle ticket, but Golden Circle are not exclusive to those packages, and can be bought separately.

Does that help at all?

Just checked and Golden Circle with Early Access in London are ?315. Looks like that's what you bought- they're not cheaper now.

Am the only one that thinks an extra ?150 on top of the ticket price just  to enter the stadium a bit earlier (and maybe stand about a metre in front of others) seems absolutely terrible value for money?!

No, but that's the free market for you.

Just saying that you're not paying ?150 extra just to get in front of other people..... Although that's an advantage to those who really want to be by the barricade.

You do get other stuff too.

Yeah, fair enough- I hadn't spotted that. A lot of different types of ticket!
